Published concordance rows often put a current 645 near a legacy 700. Treat that as GMAC’s rank match, not a promise that a 645 file equals last decade’s 700 file. Class profiles that still print a 700 median after 2024 need a footnote: which exam?
Example: you hold a 10th Edition 720 and a current 675. Concordance may place those near each other. Send the higher-ranked sitting the school will accept. Do not average them. Do not invent a GRE conversion to pick a third number.

Why do current GMAT totals end in 5?
The current total runs 205–805 in 10-point steps. Ending in 5 is the visual cue that you are on the new scale. 10th Edition totals ended in 0. If a class profile prints 700 in 2026, ask which edition produced it.
Does concordance let me skip the current exam?
Only if the school still accepts a 10th Edition score inside its five-year window. Concordance helps the reader interpret that old number. It does not extend validity. An expired 720 does not become a live 675 by table lookup. Retake if the five-year window is gone.
Is there a GRE concordance to GMAT?
No. ETS and GMAC do not equate GRE and GMAT. Report GRE as GRE. If you hold both, send the sitting that best matches how that school’s enrolled class actually tested, not a converter output. Report GRE in GRE fields only.
